Randy Gettings Memorial Beach Training

WHEN: Saturday August 22nd, 2009 ... 9:30am - 3:00pm

WHAT: A beach training and family picnic. The format has changed slightly from last year. The morning session will be a general training. We’ll break for lunch, then return to the beach for a specialized kobudo (weapons) training session. Finally we will meet as a group at the Deck Down Under for a “Dutch Treat” dinner and social time. The Port Orange and Holly Hill Yoshukai Karate classes are the sponsors and will provide the pot luck lunch, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring your own drinks..

1. This is a family picnic. Brothers, sisters, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, Grandparents, Moms and Dads, even your neighborhood friend are all invited BUT we need an idea of how many are coming.

2. ACCOMMODATIONS: The Sun Viking Lodge has once again offered some great rates. This is a nice beach motel with playground, swimming pools, water slide and game room. It is a good opportunity to have an end of summer beach weekend. (See Motel Brochure )
